Fandora's Box Sports Buzz Entry in Daylife API Contest |

It has been a busy week. We have made a ton of progress on the infrastructure of Fandora's Box. One cool thing is that we have developed a utility called Sports Buzz that we are submitting on 7/25 to the Daylife API Developer's Contest. Daylife.com is a great news aggregator site and we are approved to use their API, DayPI. The Sports Buzz utility allows you to be effective at the water cooler by keeping you up to date on the latest news around sports. Some cool features are being able to filter by sport, team and/or player, and also by your 'My Teams' and 'My Players' lists setup in your profile on fandorasbox.com. This will save the user a lot of time when he/she wants the top news for the objects they are interested in. No more hunting down info, just check the Buzz. This will be wrapped up by COB on 7/25 and I'll send all of the Insiders the URL so you can play with it. It will be good to flesh it out before we officially release fandorasbox.com.
